AT521B AT Research II
This course is a continuation of concepts, processes, and applications of athletic training research. The research role of the athletic trainer in decision making and clinical practice will be examined. Students will read and critique research on athletic training practice and will discuss problems and challenges in conducting athletic training research. Throughout the course, there will be opportunities to practice various aspects of the research process (Literature review and Introduction ). The student will develop a research proposal and conduct a literature review about his or her topic. The student will begin the formal writing of this research proposal. Lecture and Discussion. Prerequisites: AT511 - Emergency Preparedness. Admittance to MSAT required.
