CJ317 Corrections

This course examines the history, practices and philosophies of the American Penal System as well as critical issues facing incarcerated subjects today. Included in such critical issues are types of offender punishments, an examination of the modern prison system, philosophies of punishment, the death penalty, the juvenile justice system, and current drug policy impacts on corrections.
