PTA201 Pathophysiology for Physical Therapist Assistant

This course will examine the pathogenesis and medical management of disease and disorders of the following systems: cardiovascular, endocrine, metabolic, gastrointestinal, genital, reproductive, hematologic, hepatic, biliary, immune, integumentary, lymphatic, musculoskeletal, respiratory, nervous, renal and urologic. Implications for the physical therapist assistant will be addressed. Prerequisites: PTA200 - Therapeutic Exercise and PTA205 - Clinical Education I
