This course examines the concepts and techniques used in financial decision-making within business organizations. Students study how firms evaluate and manage financial resources, including investment decisions through capital budgeting, short-term financial planning through working capital management, and the analysis of financial performance using ratios. The course also explores sources of financing and the cost of capital, with emphasis on applying financial tools to support effective business decision-making and communicating financial information clearly and professionally.
