Bachelor of Music in Music Ministry
The Bachelor of Music in Music Ministry degree program prepares students to be professional musicians in religious settings with knowledge of music, technology, religion, and rehearsal techniques. Satisfactory completion of the BMMM degree also prepares students for success in public performance and graduate study.
General Education Requirements: 37-39 Hours
Courses required for the major may simultaneously fulfill requirements of the general education program. Credit hours may not be double counted.
Additional Degree Requirements: 6 Hours
Music Major Requirements: 73-81 Hours

MU423 and MU465: Capstone.
Music Ministry Core (22 Hours)
Applied Music (26 Hours)
Applied study in voice, piano, and guitar is required. Piano and Guitar majors choose voice as the secondary area. Voice majors choose piano or guitar as the secondary area.
1st MLX___ (Applied lessons and/or Techniques classes) and MU492: Primary area.
2nd MLX___ (Applied lessons and/or Techniques classes): Secondary area.
3rd MLX___ (Applied lessons and/or Techniques classes): Tertiary area.
MU010: Corequisite of Applied Lessons.
Ensembles (0-16 Hours)
Must be enrolled and successfully participate in a major ensemble and Worship Ensemble each semester of full-time attendance
