Management
The Division of Accounting, Business, and Economics offers a progressive Business program, which combines professional preparation with a liberal arts education. The purpose of this program is to develop the important personal characteristics of confidence in oneself, ability to work with others, written and oral communication skills, technical competence, mathematical skills, moral awareness, and ethical values. The bachelor degree program for the Applied Science in Management major is designed for students who have already obtained an AS or AAS degree.
CMU offers two professional organizations for business students: Delta Mu Delta is a national honor society in business administration. Collegiate DECA is an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
